Carmel leads our Insurance practice in Asia. She has extensive experience in advising major international insurers and reinsurers on both contentious and non-contentious insurance matters, with a particular focus on complex professional and financial risks, including cyber and W&I. Her practice spans Hong Kong, Singapore and the wider Southeast Asia region. Carmel is a member of the Hong Kong Law Society and serves on its Foreign Lawyers Committee.

“I advise (re)insurers on policy coverage issues arising across the full spectrum of financial lines insurance and reinsurance products designed to address the liabilities of companies, managers and professionals, including Commercial Crime & Fidelity, Cyber, D&O, Investment and Asset Management, Professional Indemnity, Public Offering Securities and Transactional Liability insurance. I also have significant experience in monitoring complex and high-profile insurance claims, as well as defending high-value, large-scale disputes on behalf of professional insureds.
