We recognise that our people are our most valuable asset, and as such, health and wellbeing is a key focus area for our ESG strategy and embedded within AmP, our firmwide people programme. As signatories of the Mindful Business Charter we aim to remove unnecessary sources of stress and promote better mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
To ensure everyone across the firm is supported, we work with global wellbeing platform Unmind, which offers free, confidential and flexible appointments with accredited therapists across multiple time zones in over 50 languages. The platform also offers a number of additional tools and resources, rooted in neuroscience, to help support people through all areas of health and wellbeing, sleep, work-life balance and physical health.
Additionally, we were the first law firm to introduce R;pple, suicide prevention software aimed at redirecting a person to supportive resources should they search for harmful content online and we were delighted to win Mental Health Initiative of the Year at the Women and Diversity in Law Awards for this initiative.
We recognise that social interactions with our colleagues can also have a positive impact on our wellbeing and overall sense of belonging so at RPC you can expect plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues at all levels through our DEIB communities, sports and social clubs, summer party, weekly socials: Thank you Thursdays/Well Done Wednesdays and coffee roulette where you are randomly matched across the firm with someone you may not know ensuring comprehensive support for physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
The way we work
Hybrid working
We recognise the benefits of spending time together in our offices, where we foster community, collaboration and learning. We have chosen not to implement strict rules relating to the proportion of time each of us should spend in or out of our offices. To do this, would ignore the individual circumstances of our people, our teams and our clients and would remove the very flexibility that we value at RPC. Instead we have adopted principles
that reflect, and preserve, our culture and values.
Flexible working
Flexible working that supports your commitments outside of work is an important part of wellbeing and, where possible, we will support this across all roles.
Please get in touch with our recruitment team, if you have any questions or concerns about our hybrid working approach or flexible working policy.
