RPC advises Skyward Specialty on its successful acquisition of Apollo

International law firm RPC has advised Skyward Specialty Insurance Group, Inc.® on the successful completion of its acquisition of Apollo for a total consideration of $555 million.

The transaction was followed by Skyward's introduction of Skyward Group, its new, unified brand for its US and Lloyd's businesses, Skyward Specialty Insurance Group, Inc. and Apollo, respectively. The new group delivers a comprehensive suite of specialised insurance solutions across global specialty property and casualty markets.

The RPC team was led by Partner and Head of Corporate Insurance James Mee alongside Partners William Hogarth and Jonathan Charwat, Of Counsel Whitney Simpson, Senior Associates Robert Eccles, Rachel Lord, Lauren Murphy, Richard Wilson and Priyanka Butani, and Associate Rachel Stanley, with support from colleagues across the firm.
