Jeremy Cunningham

Partner – Head of M&A

Jeremy is an M&A and private equity lawyer, who leads RPC's private M&A practice. Jeremy advises buyers, sellers, financial investors (including private equity investors), and management teams who acquire equity in buy-out vehicles. He advises on both domestic and international transactions. He is experienced in working many sectors and recently has advised extensively in the business services, tech & media, retail and financial services sectors. He sees his role as being an integral part of his client's team and makes sure he is available throughout transactions to advise and reassure his clients.

Jeremy's recent work highlights:

Advised the shareholders of Axis Europe, the leading property services provider, on the sale of their shares to a group advised and  funded by global investment firm H.I.G. Capital and the management team on the acquisition of equity in the group which acquired those shares.

Advised BGIS, a global leader in facilities management backed by CCMP Capital Advisors (a New York private equity firm), on several acquisitions including its recent acquisition of Briggs & Forrester Building Services Maintenance Limited, a national mechanical and electrical building services maintenance company.

Advised Dragons' Den's Susie Ma on reclaiming full ownership of Tropic Skincare, assisting in her 50% buyout from Lord Sugar.

Advised the shareholders of Axon Diagnostics, a UK-based teleradiology provider, on its sale to Medica Group, a market-leading provider of diagnostic services to the NHS and independent sector.

Advised the majority sellers of Cyberseer Limited, a UK-based managed security service provider, on its sale to Redsquid, an IT managed services provider.

Advised Dellner Polymer Solutions, part of Sweden's Dellner Group, on its acquisition of high-end engineering supplier Ferrabyrne Ltd, a YFM Equity Partners backed business.
