David leads RPC's global Disputes group. He has extensive experience of managing and resolving significant disputes and regulatory matters, including class actions and investigations involving competition, consumer and data issues. David is recognised as a leading lawyer on technology issues and much of his work is international, involving coordinated strategies and parallel disputes in many jurisdictions around the world.

David is recommended as a Leading Individual for TMT in Legal 500 and as a leading technology lawyer in the Who's Who Legal Global Guide. He was also recognised in The Lawyer's 'Hot 100', and the wider team was awarded TMT Team of the Year by Legal Business for two consecutive years and was described by The Lawyer as "Big Tech's go-to UK adviser". 

David is a member of techUK and the Society for Computers and Law (SCL),and has also served on the Law Society's Technology and Law Committee. He is described in the leading directories as

Representing Google in the Google Play litigation in the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, involving claims by Epic Games and two sets of collective proceedings brought on behalf of a UK consumer class and a UK developer class.

Acting for a global TMT business in relation to regulatory investigations concerning consumer protection and data issues involving multiple jurisdictions and various regulatory regimes.

Representing Valve in the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal in relation to collective proceedings brought on behalf of a UK consumer class.

Leading the successful third-party intervention for techUK in relation to the Lloyd v Google data class action heard in the UK Supreme Court.
