RPC advises Ceres Power Holdings on its successful £100 million capital raise

Published on 10 June 2026

International law firm RPC has advised Ceres Power Holdings plc, a leading developer of clean energy technology listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, on its successful £100 million capital raise through a placing of new shares to institutional investors and an offer to retail investors.

Ceres will use the proceeds to drive growth and further scale up its Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology – increasingly recognised by the global energy industry as a clean and flexible source of power for the rapidly expanding data centre market. SOFC demand is forecast to reach 22 gigawatts per annum by 2030.

The RPC team was led by Partners Connor Cahalane and Karen Hendy, with support from Partner Emily McGregor, Associate Raj Minhas and Trainee Solicitor Filippo Marchiori in the Corporate team and Partner Ben Roberts and Associate Julia Szerer in the Tax Transactions team. UBS and Berenberg acted as bookrunners.

This deal builds on a strong pipeline of work so far this year from the firm's Public Companies and Advisory team, having recently advised on the admission of both Dotlines Global and Roquefort Therapeutics to AIM, and acted for the bookrunners on Tungsten West Plc's £41 million fundraising.
