RPC advises Axcel on acquisition of LS Retail
International law firm RPC has advised Axcel, a leading Northern European private equity firm, on its acquisition of LS Retail, a market-leading retail and hospitality software provider.
RPC supported Axcel and Axcel's Danish counsel, Accura, on negotiating and documenting the acquisition. The deal marks Axcel's first investment in Iceland and a strong new addition to the firm's portfolio of Nordic software companies with international reach.
LS Retail is a provider of vertical software for the retail and hospitality industries, and is being acquired from Aptos, a US-based leader in retail technology solutions owned by funds managed by Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
The RPC team was led by Partner James Mee, working with Senior Associate Rupert Wyles and Associate Catherine McLaughlin, alongside Partner Ben Roberts and Senior Counsel Charles Suchett-Kaye. The Accura team was led by Partner Tue Ravnholt Fransen.
