Tom focuses on advising legal services providers on professional liability and regulation. He has a particular interest in contentious regulatory matters, and advises clients at all stages of regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings.

Tom also has extensive experience of defending civil claims against law firms, solicitors and barristers. He typically acts on complex, high-value disputes, often with an international dimension. He has advised law firms in connection with claims arising out of corporate and finance transactions, derivative transactions, cryptocurrencies, pensions, commercial property transactions, tax and financial services regulatory advice.
