Niamh has experience across various levels of the court system - from the County Court to the High Court - and regularly acts in urgent interim applications, including defending against ex parte injunctions. She also has experience defending clients in IPSO arbitration proceedings.

"I work closely with every client to understand their priorities, explore solutions collaboratively, and focus on what matters most to them"

"Working in Media & Entertainment means no two days are ever the same. It’s a dynamic, fast-moving, and highly creative sector, and I find the work endlessly engaging. I'm constantly exposed to new legal challenges shaped by current events and industry developments, which keeps my role both intellectually stimulating and rewarding.

As part of my training contract, I undertook a six-month secondment at The Times and The Sunday Times. The experience was invaluable in deepening my understanding of the priorities and challenges faced by clients in the media industry.

My clients value my dedication to resolving disputes in a straightforward, practical, and cost-effective way. I work closely with every client to understand their priorities, explore solutions collaboratively, and focus on what matters most to them - what they want to achieve and how I can help deliver the best possible result."

Niamh's recent work highlights:

Acting for national newspapers on high-profile defamation disputes.

Regularly advising a technology company on claims arising from users of its service.
