“Helping take the stress off people is particularly rewarding”
“I am an experienced client relationship manager for major clients of the firm. I love working with all sorts of people - everyone is different. Secondments have enabled me to see the world from the client side. I have also monitored claims for D&O insurers in various jurisdictions.
I very much enjoy helping people to navigate and defend claims made against them. They can be very stressful for the individuals involved, and helping take that stress off people is particularly rewarding.
I particularly enjoy understanding the commercial and human aspects to any claim so that we can ensure that the law is applied appropriately. I try to focus on how the matter can be resolved as quickly as possible - sometimes that can mean fighting matters to trial, and I enjoy that, but more often than not the claim should be resolved with minimal legal costs.
Clients have said that they they appreciate that I am supportive, calm and empathetic. They have also said that I can resolve matters in a cost-effective way and some have said that they like working with someone who can relieve them of the stress of a claim.”
