Financial lines claims migration and review for a Lloyd’s syndicate

A Lloyd’s syndicate approached RPC to take over the handling of approximately 1,700 legacy financial lines claims previously managed by a third-party DCA.

Overview

RPC was instructed to review all open full follow claims - spanning financial institutions, management liability, professional indemnity, and construction risks - without access to the incumbent's systems.

 Approach

RPC deployed a secondee to audit all claims files, closing or escalating them where appropriate, and migrating live matters into RPC’s systems. This involved triage, data cleansing, and review across multiple years of account. All matters were managed through ECF, with integration into the client’s systems and consistent reporting on key metrics and metadata.

Outcomes delivered

  • Completed a full review of over 1,700 files, releasing significant claim reserves for the client.
  •  Successfully onboarded new claims handling for financial lines globally.
  • Maintained accurate claims data to support internal teams including finance, actuarial, and underwriting.
  • Delivered a fully compliant, quality-assured transition with MI reporting, system integration, and stakeholder coordination.
