RPC leads legal assessment in new no-win no-fee crypto recovery scheme
International law firm RPC has been appointed legal assessor in a pioneering new recovery solution for victims of cryptocurrency fraud.
The solution, launched by insurance specialist M2 Recovery Ltd in partnership with legal funding specialist Heirloom Fair Legal, is the world's first fully funded, no-win no-fee recovery solution for UK investors who have suffered losses due to crypto-related crime.
With crypto thefts on the rise, the demand for credible and affordable asset recovery has never been greater. This new partnership removes the financial barriers of traditional recovery costs, enabling victims to pursue claims with no upfront legal costs and no financial risk.
Led by Partner Dan Wyatt, Chair of the Crypto Fraud and Asset Recovery Network (CFAAR), and Of Counsel Christopher Whitehouse, founding member of CFAAR, RPC's specialist team will ensure each case is robustly evaluated for legal merit and recovery prospects.
Dan Wyatt commented: "Crypto disputes demand speed, precision, and specialist insight. This model unites funding, insurance, and legal strategy in a way that allows victims to act decisively and effectively."
Geoff Dover, CEO of HFL, said: "If you've been a victim of crypto fraud, the UK offers a robust legal path to recovery. This partnership removes cost and risk from the equation for those who have already suffered. We give these victims a fighting chance at fair justice."
Neil Holloway, CEO of M2, added: "This is a world first – true no-win no-fee recovery for victims of crypto fraud. Our insurance structure protects claimants, funders, and law firms alike, making justice financially viable where it previously wasn't."
