RPC strengthens Technology and IP practice with Partner hire as Jeremiah Chew joins the Singapore office
International law firm RPC has appointed Jeremiah Chew as a Partner in its Singapore office, where it operates joint law venture RPC Premier Law, further strengthening its Intellectual Property, Technology and Competition offering across Asia.
Jeremiah joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he advised clients predominantly on non-contentious commercial and transactional matters, with a strong focus on the technology sector, alongside contentious instructions.
Navin Joseph Lobo, Partner and Head of RPC’s Singapore office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jeremiah into our partnership. His experience in commercial technology, data privacy and competition will strongly complement our existing strengths and provide greater depth to our offering in Singapore and across the region. Jeremiah is joining us at an exciting time and will be a great asset for our clients and colleagues alike.”
Individually recognised in The Legal 500 as Tier 2 for both Data Protection & Cyber Security and TMT, and Tier 3 for Antitrust & Competition, Jeremiah was also named a Rising Star by Asian Legal Business in 2023. His arrival marks an important milestone in the continued growth of RPC’s Singapore office and its regional technology and IP practice.
Jeremiah added: “I’m excited to be joining RPC and to work alongside Navin and the wider Singapore team. RPC has an excellent reputation for its work in technology and IP, and I look forward to helping grow our practice further across commercial technology, data privacy and competition, while also supporting the firm’s corporate and transactional capabilities.”
