Elizabeth Alibhai named Leader of the Year – Financial and Professional Services at the Inspiring Women in Property Awards 2025

Elizabeth Alibhai, Partner and Head of Real Estate at RPC, has been named Leader of the Year – Financial and Professional Services at the Inspiring Women in Property Awards 2025.

The award recognises Elizabeth's exceptional leadership in steering RPC’s Real Estate practice through a record year of growth and complex, market-leading transactions, while championing inclusion and social impact.

Remarking on her award, Elizabeth said: “I’m honoured to receive this recognition. Leadership is about enabling others to succeed, and I’m lucky to be part of a firm with a strong social conscience that values collaboration and inclusion.”

Liz is one of very few female Heads of Real Estate in a UK law firm. Her commitment to mentoring and supporting women and underrepresented talent has helped her team achieve one of the highest rates of female retention and promotion within the firm.

Beyond her transactional work, Elizabeth serves as RPC’s Pro Bono Champion Partner for the UK offices, leading partnerships with organisations such as Liberty and the Clooney Foundation. She also chairs the Bronzefield Prison Employment Advisory Board, helping women leaving prison to find quality, secure employment in sectors including property, hospitality and retail.
