"In every matter, I focus on achieving the best possible outcome in the most cost-effective way, whilst safeguarding my client's reputation."

"My practice focuses on the Insurance and Reinsurance sector. I love the sheer breadth of the London market and the crucial role insurance plays in enabling businesses to achieve their objectives.

Prior to returning to RPC in 2024, I spent several years working in-house at an international law firm, where I was responsible for PI claims and closely involved in the renewal of the firm’s professional indemnity insurance programme. This experience gave me a strong understanding of the key drivers and sensitivities of both insured and insurer clients, as well as the importance of the broker relationship.

Clients value that I can effectively embed myself as part of their team. With effective communication, a human touch, and a willingness to go the extra mile, I aim to reduce the stress of litigation wherever possible. In every matter, I focus on achieving the best possible outcome in the most cost-effective way, whilst safeguarding my client's reputation."

Tom's recent work highlights:

Hurst v Solicitors Regulation Authority [2026] EWHC 85 (Admin) (at previous firm)

Jacobs v Sesame [2014] EWCA Civ 1410
