"By considering cost implications at every stage of a matter I can ensure risks are managed proportionately."
"I specialise in insurance law, an area I genuinely enjoy for its variety and complexity. I have a particular interest in the evolving common law landscape following the Building Safety Act 2022, which has significantly expanded the potential for claims relating to building defects.
Clients appreciate my friendly and proactive nature and my dedication to delivering cost-effective outcomes. By considering cost implications at every stage of a matter I can ensure risks are managed proportionately. I pride myself on my ability to analyse complex, technical information and turn this into clear, succinct advice for clients."
Beth's recent work highlights:
Representing insurers in a subrogated recovery of over £1.4m following a fire affecting multiple separately insured industrial units. This included advising on indemnity and avoidance under the Insurance Act 2015, as well as insurance obligations arising from landlord and tenant lease terms and their impact on recovery.
Pursuing an uninsured loss against multiple parties on behalf of a local authority valued at in excess of £6m.
