Many of my cases have an international element, because the underlying insurance claims will be international. I have particular experience of the Baltic countries, and have successfully arbitrated for D&O Insurers in Lithuania. On many international cases, I will work with local counsel.

Successful resistance of a winding up petition presented against the sub-fund of a Luxembourg Fund – acting for the Fund in the Court of Appeal (East Riding of Yorkshire Council v KMG Sicav-Sif-GB Strategic Land Fund [2025] EWCA Civ 1137).

Successful defence of directors against a £20m claim in the Commercial Court for breach of fiduciary duty – claim struck out (Guy's & St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust & Anor v ESMS Global Ltd & Ors [2022] EWHC 2941 (Comm)). 

Acting for trustee of a charity in disqualification proceedings (disqualification period substantially reduced).

Acted for the reinsurers of an original FI risk successfully to obtain an anti suit injunction from the Commercial Court – Axis Corporate Capital & Ors v ABSA Group Ltd & Ors [2021] EWHC 225 (Comm).
