Supporting our people through a proactive approach to wellbeing

How RPC partnered with Unmind to create accessible, preventative wellbeing support across the firm.

At RPC, we have a clear ambition: to be the best law firm to work at and with. Central to that ambition is creating an environment where our people feel supported, valued and able to thrive.

In 2023, we partnered with Unmind to strengthen and simplify access to mental wellbeing support across the firm. Our goal was to empower earlier intervention by making confidential, flexible support easier to access before challenges escalate.

Today, colleagues across our offices in London, Bristol, Hong Kong and Singapore can access a consistent wellbeing experience through a single platform combining therapy, coaching and AI-powered support tools, including Nova.

The impact has been significant:

10% reduction in mental health-related PMI claims between 2024 and 2025
1,591 therapy and coaching sessions delivered since launch
87% of employees report being fully aware of available wellbeing resources
83% feel able to openly discuss mental wellbeing with their manager

By taking a proactive and joined-up approach to wellbeing, we are helping to normalise conversations around mental health while ensuring our people can access the right support, at the right time, in a way that works for them.

This partnership forms part of RPC’s broader commitment to building an inclusive, supportive and future-focused culture for all our people.
